RIP Dolores O'Riordan (9/6/71 - 1/15/18)
That's Sad. Such a Sweet Voice.
My 2-cents worth........
A band before their time

Dan Fogelberg - Leader of the Band
...Best song about Dads...
One of my favorites......BTW: I'm not giving "likes" for this thread. I came in late, and I like them ALL, but I'm not going through all these pages, hitting the like button!! Consider your posts "liked!!"
So I wouldn't post some of my faves.... because my mostest favorite band is System. Of a Down. I couldn't do that to you old timers. But here is what I consider my theme song.
Because of these lines: " I'm gonna do the things that I wanna do , I ain't got a thing to prove to you!"
" I look in the mirror and I'm tickled pink, I don't give a hoot about what you think!"
And then there's Richie Kotzen.....
Disturbed - The Sound of Silence
...Simon and Garfunkel remake...
"This is a great song that I love, and it is very intelligent and poetic. The song uses the imagery of light and darkness to show how people's ignorance and apathy destroys their ability to communicate even on simple levels."
One of my favorites....
Not a Bob Seger fan by any chance, are you?? Gotta love him......
I just added this to the repertoire a couple weeks ago. Always loved this song.
"Sometimes you can't hear 'em talk, Other times you can
Always the same ole cliche, Is that a woman or a man?
And you always seem outnumbered, You don't dare make a stand"
There's a local radio station that plays this every Thanksgiving Day at noon.
I love all Bob Seger
