I have lived in places like that.
I have lived in places like that. We did repairs to live there rent free when my parents were young.(18 and 15). It was all they could afford.
No skills to speak of.

I would never wear Adidas.
I thought you might have better taste than to wear adidas, but you never know on a forum so I thought I would check
^ and to think there are still some that believe it didn't happen. I remember when I walked into the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC for my first time, and saw the pile of shoes. It is an image that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
Found this image yesterday, not sure where it is from but made me think of the women of this forum.
Hubby when he was 20 Y.O.. He still has blond hair today but a silver beard.

Good looking family!
Thanks Weedy. All the kids since have grown up and we just grew old. I put these pics up then heard about school shooting, so so sad . It makes me cry a little and that is hard to do.
I heard about the shooting, Meerkat. I wish these would stop. The more air time any kind of crime gets, the more copycats there are.
Yes they do. You be very careful too since you are in just as much danger as the kids sometimes.
This past Sunday, we went for a little 5 mile hike in the jungle behind our house.
That boy walked, climbed and crawled the entire way!! Didn't ask to be picked up or carried at all. He did fill his pockets with "treasure rocks"
We met the owner of this house last year. An old abandoned stone village house. Her father bought it and they are in the process of slowly re building it. Everything needs to be brought in by hand or cart UP the mountain. So its a slow process.
A 2000-year-old olive tree in the Garden of Gethsemane. I took this photo many years ago.
Notre-Dame de Paris… Where is Charles Laughton when you need him? (played the hunchback, Quasimodo in the movie)…
I took this photo long ago also. They were doing restoration work, couldn't get full access.
The “International Motorsports Hall of Fame” is located in Talladega AL. It’s a neat place to visit. They have some very special cars there.
First up… In April 1987 at Talladega, Bill Elliott drove this car to the fastest official lap ever run by a stock car when he qualified for the Winston 500 at 212.809 mph...
Next, anyone who watched a Nascar race in the 90's knows who drove this car... This is the car in which he won the spring race in '94 at Talladega. For those of you who didn’t watch his name was Dale Earnhardt Sr.
