You are limited to one ALBUM (see, I'm not just asking you to pick one SONG!), what album would you choose??? Since I started this thing, I'll go first:

That's pretty much what I was thinking.

The Eagles Hotel California is right up there.

That is a hard choice. Some good ones have been picked already, 3 that I was considering, Eagles, Fleetwood mac, Pink Floyd. That leaves me with Skynards first album "Pronounced" or bad Company "straight shooter". But then Deep Purple Machine Head. Hard choices.

Allman Bros Eat a Peach was a good album with lots of instrumental.
Lots of good stuff already mentioned. I don't know if I could choose one...just one or nothing? I can't decide today. If that was my only choice to listen to for the rest of my life...? As you can see, I take it much too seriously. Vivaldi's Four Seasons. lol

Are there any Led Zeppelin fans here? This may be your new favorite album, Black Smoke Rising.

It is good to know that our kind is not dead yet...These kids--Greta Van Fleet--are the future.

They all grew up listening to their parent's music, our music. You can hear Led Zeppelin's influence on them, especially the singer's voice. Wow. I get goosebumps and shivers listening to that Robert Plant-ish voice.

Many of their songs are on Youtube, but here is just a sampling of their album Black Smoke Rising: the song Highway Tune. Enjoy! They are young, barely out of high school. Imagine how they will be in a few more years...

I think I would have to pick some sort of 130 song compilation album.

And even then I'm not sure what I would pick...

I too have been enjoying listening to Greta Van Fleet. Not only does the singer song like plant, but the music sounds much like Zep's folks as well. I like the fact they write their own music.

I grew up listening obsessively to Black Sabbath Paranoid and Uriah Heep Demons and Wizards. A little dark back then. LOL

Snappy that had to be a great show. I liked Montrose very much. But was too young to go to shows back then.
