I been doing this fer many a year. Buy some hotdogs (I get the 79 cent ones) Slice down about 1/3rd a one side, roll it over an cut that in half. I find a good sharp chef knife works best.

Put them strips in yer dehydrator and dry em up nice. Now it aint that high dollar stuff, but they be mighty tastey and perty darn cheap!

Play round with different brands an kinds ta find what suits yall best.

Anyone who has made hotdog jerky, certainly must have tried to do it with spam.

    How was it?

Another easy jerky-like snack that my wife likes - just buy good ham lunch meat (we like "Land-O-Frost brand) and dehydrate the slices. They turn into something like chips that taste great and make a handy, tasty snack. And so easy because it is already sliced and ready for the dehydrator.
