Here's a book for anyone that wants to learn about how people lived during the Great Depression. It's a true story about an Iowa farm family during that period. A lot of advice, tips, funny stories, recipes....etc.

The great depression taught people many lessons that are invaluable to the modern prepper, homesteader or survivalist. We could easily find ourselves in another depression where life could be even harder and having a few books like this one around would be golden.

    Interesting title ...
When I once ask my Grandma about the depression, she said it was just life in the mountains.
As for me ... Homesteading is a way of life, I can't change that. (I know this for I have tried.)

I read that book last year. It cracked me up. Sure, there were hardships mentioned in the story, but alot of funny times too.
